Rebekah has experience working in Early Intervention centers and specialist schools with young children, particularly those who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), or developmental delays. Being a mother of three children, Rebekah has a better understanding of children and enjoys working with them in both private and group settings. She provides adaptable piano and music lessons that are customised for children with ASD or special needs. Rebekah is interested in a program for young mothers that can prevent postpartum depression, as well as a support group that can help siblings and families of children with special needs.

I love the idea that music can be used as a wonderful tool to assist people with various needs, especially those who may find it difficult to express their feelings verbally. What’s even more admirable is the fact that music therapists are always willing to grow and learn in order to become better therapists, while also taking care of themselves to better take care of others in need.

Music therapy is a beautiful field that reaches out to more people in our community.
