Mint Trust is hiring: Wānaka

We’re a charitable trust based in Wānaka, supporting people with intellectual disabilities through active, cultural, and social programmes and events.

One of our long-running and much-loved programmes is our music group, which has had incredible benefits amongst our community. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for another musical mastermind to join our team—ideally a music teacher or music therapist—to lead our weekly group sessions (1.5 hours per week).

This is a paid role and runs during the school term only (4 x 8-week blocks, with breaks over school holidays).

We’re seeking someone who can plan and facilitate engaging sessions for a diverse group of people who love singing, making music together and learning instruments. You’ll need to be confident leading with a guitar and/or piano and able to bring joy, creativity, and structure to each session.

If this sounds like you, and you’d love to add 1.5 hours of musical magic to your week, please get in touch—we’d love to hear from you!
