The programme for the day includes:

  • Waiata session 9:30am
  • MThNZ 2025 AGM 10:00am
  • Update and discussion on the future direction of MThNZ
  • tasty food and refreshments
  • Guest speaker: Dr Graham Sattler, CEO Christchurch Symphony Orchestra 
  • Panel discussion with RMThs Kim Wade Liz Wallace, Katie Pureti, Hazel Barrett, Sophie Sabri and May Clulee 吳美珠
  • Musicking together

We are thrilled that our guest speaker at the hui is Dr Graham Sattler, CEO of the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra. Graham brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise and experience as a musician and facilitator of transformative experiences through music in community settings. 

This will lead into a panel discussion facilitated by Kimberley Wade with Music Therapists who are working in collaboration with community musicians, allied health professionals and others in various contexts and community settings. This promises to be a lively and interactive session. Our day finishes with an all-in musicking session. 

It’s not too late to get your ticket. Registration options include all-day attendance which includes refreshments and lunch, or afternoon attendance from 1pm (not catered).

MThNZ members can register from $50 plus booking fee
