Music Therapy New Zealand has three dedicated funds available to provide awards and grants for specific purposes. These funds have been established with the support of generous donations, notably by Mr and Mrs F. W. Lindgren, and Sir Roy McKenzie.
Lindgren Project Fund
Provides financial assistance for study, research, and projects, which will promote the advancement of music therapy in New Zealand.
McKenzie Music Therapy Hospice Fund
Provides support for qualified music therapists or groups for study, research, or projects, which will promote the use of music therapy in palliative care in New Zealand.
Closing dates for applications to the Lindgren Project Fund and the McKenzie Music Therapy Hospice Fund are 30 April and 30 September each year. These dates must be adhered to.

Please note that due to the high quantity and quality of applications received during the past two funding rounds no further grant applications will be considered for the remainder of 2010. We welcome your applications for the 30 April 2011 funding round.
