Music Therapy New Zealand Grants & Scholarships

Music Therapy New Zealand has dedicated funds available to provide grants and scholarships for specific purposes.

These funds have been established with the support of generous donations.
Information about each of these is provided below.

The Project Grants Group (PGG) includes at least two members of Council and other nominated MThNZ members.  They manage the various Funds, accept applications and make recommendations on awards and grants to Council.

The current Project Grants Group Chairperson is Rachel Austin, NZ RMTh and council member

Funding is available to enable music therapists to respond to community needs by contributing to new, and expanding existing, crisis intervention projects.
