Music Therapy New Zealand is looking for a new person to fill the role of Administrator, a key contract role within this small and dynamic organisation that supports the provision of music therapy throughout New Zealand. The Administrator is responsible for all administrative aspects of the organisation, including financial administration, as well as co-ordinating events and communications tasks.


Key skills required are:

  • Fluency in a range of administrative procedures, including financial administration

  • Event management skills

  • Experience delivering a communications plan

  • Good communication skills and ability to respond appropriately to a range of people

  • Familiarity with a range of online / software packages


This is a part-time contract (a maximum of 50 hours per month) so may suit someone looking for flexible part-time work; however there is an expectation of regular contact hours each week. The role can be carried out anywhere in the country, although will require occasional travel for meetings and events.
